Finnish Experts Share ADAS Insights at Kaunas Education Center

Kaunas Education Center of Technologies was visited by Antti Järvenpää and Matti Ramo, guests and social partners from Omnia, the Joint Authority of Education in the Espoo region in Finland, who are jointly involved in the Auto Cove 2.0 project activities. Their area of expertise in the project is automotive ADAS systems. We all know that modern vehicles are like mini IT labs on wheels.

This enables cars to save fuel, choose a more economical route and even prevent potential accidents. Antti, a vocational teacher, has been working in this field for years. The experience and knowledge he has accumulated enables him to develop training materials for future professionals. Who better explain all the subtleties if not a professional who examines the entire system with his own hands, down to the smallest detail.

The Transport Department of the Kautech Training Centre makes every effort to ensure that the professionals working here receive the most up-to-date knowledge and skills. The guests from Finland were happy to pass on the knowledge they have accumulated over the years. Most importantly, they also shared professional tricks and secrets that you wouldn’t learn anywhere else.

The training was for the purpose of familiarization and familiarization with ADAS systems, but behind the training the Auto Cove 2.0 green flag was flying. It was only thanks to this project that the idea and the opportunity for international cooperation and professional development among teachers was born.
