Delighted to host the teachers of our project coordinator, OMNIA, in Lyon and to carry out a piloting phase with our learners at SEPR!
As part of the Auto CoVE 2.0 project, Antti Järvenpää and Matti Rämö, automotive teachers from OMNIA, are contributing to the development of training modules on ADAS systems. To present their work, they were at SEPR to lead an on-site piloting session on October 28 and 29.
These two days offered a great opportunity to successfully test the ADAS modules developed by OMNIA on the ELECTUDE platform. Our second-year BTS Automotive teachers and learners were able to expand their knowledge and strengthen their skills on:
- ADAS systems, ADAS sensors and EU regulations
- Static & Dynamic Calibration of ADAS systems
- Practical exercise; static calibration of the front camera
- Practical exercise; dynamic calibration of the front radar
- Theoretical analysis of incorrect calibration causes and common calibration issues
A special thank you to Antti Järvenpää and Matti Rämö, who traveled all the way from Finland to France to share their expertise, knowledge, training modules, and experience with our team and learners throughout these two enriching days.
Warm thanks as well to everyone involved for their availability, hospitality, and professionalism:
- Pelin Ünlü, from the International Department, for organizing the agenda, coordinating the visit, and managing all logistics;
- Gaëlle De Medeiros, from the Pedagogical Department, for coordinating the technical logistics, supporting the use of the Electude platform (access, connections, feedback forms), and accompanying our learners throughout the activities;
- Emmanuel Colin, Chafik Maazouzi and Valentin Goueslain from the Automotive Team, for ensuring the smooth running of the visit, providing access to the workshop, the hybrid vehicle, and all the teaching materials, as well as for their support throughout the testing sessions;
- Rémy Borjon Piron, from ECODIME, for translating technical terminology and supporting the learners with technical content;
- And of course, all the learners who actively participated in this testing phase.
Thanks to this collaboration between SEPR and OMNIA, this stage of the project was a real success and was greatly appreciated by our Finnish teachers & French learners and teachers.
