Auto Cove 2.0 – together we make things better

In the AutoCove 2.0 project, we are developing online courses using a truly collaborative approach. Twice a year, teachers, researchers, and automotive industry representatives come together to review the courses created by the partner development teams, providing feedback and insights to further enhance the content. Industry representatives play a crucial and integral role in these workshops, as they bring the voice of the workforce and industry into our collaborative development process. This ensures that our work remains relevant and aligned with industry needs. The collaborative model ensures the high quality of the AutoCove 2.0 deliverables, and this partnership significantly enhances both the technical and pedagogical quality of the content, guaranteeing that the courses meet the highest standards.

During the most recent workshop in Tartu, all development teams presented their progress to date, and feedback was gathered after each presentation through brief Webropol surveys. These surveys allowed participants to evaluate the current versions of the course modules and provide additional written feedback, which the teams will use to improve their materials.

Overall, the teachers presenting the courses in the workshop were very experienced and got a lot of appreciation due to their extensive knowledge with the subject and experience as a teacher. The main improvements suggested for the material in Electude platform were quite minor and related mainly to the visual representation and the usability of the content, e.g. quizzes. Some clarifications of the terminology, very familiar for the experienced experts, were however needed. In addition, to be able to translate the courses in all the needed languages, pictures and texts were requested to be clearly separated. Moreover, a few courses did not include the learning objectives yet, and those need to be added for the final versions.
